Gas Gas Riders Wait To Shine In USA

The latest test for Adam Raga and all members of the Gas Gas School of Champions Team in the World Championship, is the USA Grand Prix at the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie Tennessee. Raga, who introduced the TXT Pro 300 Factory Replica in the World Cup, remembers well his two victories in Sequatchie that helped him to earn the 2006 world title.

Raga, who won last week’s Trial Indoor de Rouen (France), hopes to re-enter the fight to win races and leave behind the controversy over the Non-Stop rules. The Spaniard is in third place in the provisional standings, only five points behind the leader and three away from second place.

Michael Brown, down with an injury
One of the Gas Gas riders who cannot participate in the Grand Prix of the United States will be the British rider, Michael Brown, as yet not recovered from the knee injury he suffered in the Scottish Six Days Trial. In fact, Brown has undergone surgery this past Thursday to repair the damaged cartilage in his left knee. The UK rider expects to be 100% for the next round in Andorra.

For his part, the Catalan Pere Borrellas, another official Gas Gas Team rider seeks the opportunity to score in this second round of the World Championship. One of those who has already achieved is the Italian rider Matteo Grattarola, who will enter this test hoping to improve his riding in the top category, looking for a top ten finish.

Junior Championship
Jorge Casales is the top rider in the Gas Gas School of Champions Junior category.
