Gas Gas In Andorra, Day 2

raga andorra gas gas report 2Adam Raga is satisfied with the Andorra Trial Grand Prix. A very technical event, hard and complicated, especially mentally, in which the best riders had a lot of pressure. Easy zones, and Non-Stop rules did not allow any errors as it made it difficult to recover lost points.
The Gas Gas rider started the day, but in a zone near the end of the first lap he made a mistake that distanced him in points from Toni Bou. Then in the last zone, another mistake left him 10 points behind the provisional leader of the race, tied for second place with Takahisa Fujinami. Fortunately, in the second lap, Raga improved his form through the zones where he had been penalized and finished the round with just 4 points and his second was assured. The Gas Gas rider is still leading the championship. The
Gas Gas Factory Team riders have matured with a good performance, with Italian Matteo Grattarola in eighth, Frenchman Loris Gubian in ninth, and Britain's Michael Brown, eleventh. Pere Borrellas finished fourteenth.

Gas Gas rider Jorge Casales, of the School of Champions, has won the Junior category and is confirmed as the championship category leader. The Galician rider has demonstrated his potential, in two excellent Junior rounds that were not easy. On each loop he was penalized only a single point and the difference with the runner-up has been enormous.
Francesc Moret, another Gas Gas rider, finished fourth and Australian Kyle Middleton was out of the points.

Adam Raga:"I am very happy because I rode very well. Yes, I made two fiascos that could have been two zeros, just two errors, one of them of course was a shame. But I still think I had a good trial. I hope to continue in this line. The most positive thing is not to be the leader of the championship, but to be a good rider, and this is well now. I can not be angry about finishing second".

Jorge Casales:
"The early season has been a little weird, maybe I was too focused on the championship of Spain and that was the reason for failure. Now I am more in line with non-stop and I am very pleased with this GP of Andorra. Yesterday I went to bed with great gusto and today I started very strong. Even I was impressed with myself. I've been stepping up and am very happy. A return to this point is something masterful. I thank the whole team".
