Despite the busy schedule of Graham Jarvis, competing in the world’s toughest extreme events and his recent win at Erzberg, he is still finding time to prepare the sections at Nord Vue Penrith the home of the British round of the Trial World Championship, with the weekend of 27/28th July fast approaching. Much time is being spent on making changes to the sections to accommodate the new no-stop rules, whilst still maintaining the spectacular factor which last year’s sections provided.
Recent results from other world trials rounds indicates much closer competition this year with Adam Raga leading the championship as we speak and "local hero" of 2012, James Dabill seemingly on an upward trend. This points to a very exciting weekend of world trails at Nord Vue in July.
John Kerwin the world trial event director recently visited D & M design fabrication of Kirkby Malzeard North Yorkshire specialist stainless steel fabricators where he met up with the boss Dave Mawer. Dave, a keen trials rider has agreed to sponsor the trophies for the Nord Vue world round for a second year. Last he made some special trophies which can be seen in the hands of Killer Kendrew - not that he actually won it !!
There a few place left in the C&D and electric youth trial events to be run on the evenings of Friday 26th and Saturday 27th July. To enter either of these events contact Anthony Hayhurst from the Lakes Grass Track club on 07718768948. Tickets and camping are still available at reduced rates and can be purchased online at www.worldtrialuk.co.uk
