2013 UK World Trial Fast Approaches

Ztc 7640This time next week the eyes of the trials world will be focused on Nord Vue near Penrith, when the venue hosts 2 full days of World Championship Trials action. This year’s championship is much closer than in recent years with some people believing this is with the rules changing to no stop. There is only 2 points in the championship, can Raga take advantage of the English conditions or will Bou prove the master of Nord Vue as he has been in previous years?

The no stop rule has given Graham Jarvis the section designer a new challenge to keep them as spectacular as previous years, while taking into account the new rule. Having chosen 3 laps of 12 sections per day Graham has radically altered the sections and created some new ones.

All the sections are grouped together at the top of blaze fell making spectating very easy as all the sections can be walked around in minutes. Viewing the sections is good with many having graded banks to increase viewing. Also Jack Burnicle and Roger Warren will keep everyone informed with up to date commentary from the sections and stage.

Ztc 7622This years event director John Kerwin continues to broadened the appeal of the weekend with the inclusion of a display and demonstration of classic and twin shock bikes. Building on last year’s youth trials we have decided to run them as an arena trial, with arena located next to the factory trucks and camping this should create a good atmosphere for the young stars of tomorrow, C and D Friday evening and electric bikes on Saturday evening.

The trade village has grown again this year and has all the main trials importers displaying their machinery, alongside accessory shops, catering and bars.
