Bad Weekend For Challoner In France

Ztc 8962After a short break the World trial championship series returned to France for the last GP of the season at Isola 2000. Despite the one month break and the opportunity to let the injured ankle rest, Tr1al/Top Trial Team rider Jack Challoner wasn't able to end the season with a great result. Resting the ankle definitely made some difference, but the time off the bike really affected his riding. Challoner eventually finished in 10th place on saturday and 12th place on sunday.

Challoner's reaction about the race: "I've had a bad end to the season this weekend. I've had three weeks off the bike to rest the ankle up which seems to have made a difference but it affected my riding and I was far from on form. I just couldn't find a rhythm. I've had a bit of bad luck this year with the ankle injury and a few other things so I'm happy to be in the top ten in the championship, though 10th place wasn't what I set out for at the start of the season! Thanks to the team, Tr1al and to Josh for stepping in with the minding."
