Alexz WiggMixed feelings after a weekend at WTC Corsica. First a massive congrats to Adam on his stunning win. Also to Jorge Casales and Matteo for excellent rides. Team JSTGGUK riders Michael Brown and Alexz Wigg were riding had mixed results.
Alexz gave 100% and never gave up fighting. He finished 12th but deserved better. He worked very well with a new minder who is a very welcome member to the Team. Alexz has been working hard with his fitness and it was good to see his last lap was his best.
Michael had a nightmare. He was 14th and only got out of 6 sections. No excuses from Michael or the Team but he was very unconfident of the big sections and was obviously concerned of crashing and hurting his knee. His knee is fine but not 100% and a possible knee brace could help his confidence. I hope a good weeks practice in Italy will see him back in the top 10.
Jack Price (RT GG) also had a weekend to forget with a shocking 21st on Saturday but a much improved 8th on Sunday. Jack will learn alot this year in the World Cup Class and will improve.
