After 4 world championship trials at Nord Vue it was felt that changes to offer fresh challenges to the competitors and more variety of viewing to spectators was called for so, with this in mind, the organising team entered negotiations with the land owner and the result is we have use of most of Nord Vue farm including the totally new "Blaze Fell".
This means the World Trial Penrith is undergoing its biggest change since its conception in 2009. The quarry will remain as the centre of the trial with 8 new spectacular sections within easy walking distance. Blaze fFll will offer natural sections on the steep banks only a short walk away from the quarry. We hope this new formula of man-made and natural sections will appeal to a broader numbers of trials fans.
For the spectators, as the riders will ride 3 laps of 12 sections per day, even with the new layout of the sections spectators coming to Nord Vue will still be able to see all of the sections in a day and with the quarry area having 8 sections it will still be the heart of the trial.
This year the organizers have focused in on entertainment for the camping area Friday and Saturday evenings will see a time trial for adult riders and on Saturday evening a very special electric trial for youth riders all located adjacent to the camping area. The campsite bar will have music each evening .
Tickets and camping are available now at the lowest discounted prices and will increase in price over the coming months to the full price on the gate www.britishworldtrial.co.uk tickets will be sent out during the first week in June
