It would be fair to say that the challenges currently being faced by the Girona-based Gas Gas company are well known throughout the sport of Trials. While efforts continue to resolve these challenges and return the business to stability and profitability, the company have reiterated their support for the famous Scottish Six Days Trial, due to be held in Fort William, Scotland from 4th to 9th of May.
Despite their own internal challenges the Gas Gas factory have committed that they will, as usual, be providing both Gas Gas factory truck, stocked with spare parts and Gas Gas factory mechanics to the 2015 Scottish Six Days to give Gas Gas riders in this famous event the technical assistance and service they have come to expect.
The release sent out by the factory (which TC has not just copied and pasted as the original Spanish/English translation isn’t great) clearly shows the passion and regard the Gas Gas family have for the SSDT and how keen they are to return to “business as usual”. When fuel, ferry and personnel costs are added up, this is an expensive exercise for a company that is very much counting every penny and demonstrates the commitment Gas Gas have to the event, their bikes and most importantly, to their customers.
NOTE: Alongside the factory presence, Gas Gas UK will also be offering their usual SSDT support services. Full details here.
